1st Time Sledding!!!

Today on February 11, 2012 was Morgan's first day sledding! I can't believe that we had to wait this long to go, but this year has been so unusual with hardly any snow!!! So, when we saw that it had snowed last night, we knew that we had to take her. She had a blast! I thought that she would be a bit scared, but boy was I wrong. She went down the first few times with Daddy, but then said "I want go by myself"! Yea for her she loved having Daddy push her down the hill instead of ride with her (probably because his feet kicked snow into her face because he is too tall for the sled). What a fun day.

This is my sweet Morgan and my sweet nephew Lennon! Lennon was able to make his first trip to Utah over Christmas, and boy did we have fun. Morgan loves this little guy so much, and he was so good to let her be in his face constanly. Morgan was very protective of Lennon and always made sure that he was taken care of. Can't wait for this little guy to get back here! We love him so much! Oh ya, his parents aren't bad either! Love you guys too.

Morgie's 1 st Field Trip

Morgan had her very first field trip last week. She and her pre-school class got to visit Black Island Farms. This place is so much fun, Morgan had a blast with her class mates.

For My Sister

We went to Pittsburgh to visit my sweet sister and her adorable husband in April. It was so much fun to see them, I just love them to pieces. It was even more exciting to see McCall's belly. She is preggers!!!! I can't wait to meet her sweet little boy. While I was there, Cally asked me to take some pictures of her and Tannon and "the boy" (her belly). Here they are sis!! BTW. No fair looking this beautiful during pregnancy!! And to my nephew, I can't wait to meet you! I love you so much already! Stay warm and I'll meet you in August!!

Halloween 2010

This year Morgan got to have a say in what she wanted to be for Halloween. I love, love, love what she picked! I loved the costume so much, we had to get her picture taken in it! Here is my little peacock!

Luckily we had these pictures taken! Halloween turned out to be very rainy, and my little peacock wasn't able to trick-o-treat around the neighborhood because of the crappy weather.

Baby It's Cold Outside...Again

So, we have been spoiled the last week or so with beautiful weather here in Utah. The temperature has been close to the 60's!! Morgan and I were loving it! But last night a big snowstorm came roaring through, and it is back in the 30's, so I told Morgie it was cold outside and she had to wear a coat. Well, that didn't go over so well. For some reason she has been fighting me when I ask her to wear her coat. So, I finally convinced her that she at least had to wear a beanie, but she still wasn't too happy with me. So, I had to sanp a pic of her sweet (mad) face). I love you Little Lady, even when you're mad at me!

Tiny Dancer

Morgan has always loved music and has always "grooved" to it, but over the past few months she has stared actually dancing. Now, I am a mom who knows absolutely nothing about dance, so she hasn't seen me twirling around and gracefully standing on one foot. I have watched her over the past few months and she is actually pretty getting good. She has been quite the entertainer at church as well. She dances in the isles whenever the organ/piano plays. A few people at church have asked me if she was in a dance class, but she's never had a class (mainly because I can't find dance classes for 2 year olds, they all start at age 3). Just yesterday(2/16/2011) I found a "Mommy and Me" dance class for toddlers, so we decided to check it out. Morgie had a blast! She loved the ballet room with mirrors on every wall. Once the class got started, she decided to forgo listening to the teacher and just ran around the room performing her own dance moves. She was in awe of all the mirrors and was totally diggin' being able to see herself dance. Here's a few shots of my tiny dancer (and yes, she already has a leotard, she talked Nana into getting it for her a few weeks ago.

P.S. I realize many of these pics aren't in focus, I'm still learning how to get the right exposure with the right ISO in low light to still show movement, but not blur. Any suggestions are welcome. :)
