Tonight's the Big Night!!

As many of you know, I am a total dork who follows silly reality shows on MTV. My crazy obsession all started in 2004 (oh my gosh!) when a show called Laguna Beach premiered. This show followed a group of amazingly gorgeous high school students, and exposed all of the drama that went on in high school. This is where it all began. After Laguna Beach, a series called The Hills came to be (I told you I had a problem). The Hills has been even better than Laguna, and that is why am I so excited for tonight's premiere of The City! So everyone pop some popcorn and check it out!!

I absolutely love Morgan's Bumbo that my mom got for her. At first I was a bit skeptical of her actually wanting to sit in it, but she absolutely loves her bumbo. Which is so nice for me in the mornings when I have to get ready for work. All I do is place her in her chair and pop in baby einstein and she is completely entertained. I think that she looks so dang cute in her very own chair, we have her sit in it for dinner time and we have even taken it to restaurants so that she can be more involved. (If any of you know Morgan, you know that she is quite nosy), but I like to call her observant!!! I love this little girl so much and am so blessed to have her in my life.

1. Where did you meet? At my cousin, Libby's wedding
2. How long did you date before you got married? Gosh, a long time with a break-up in the middle. But we dated like 2 1/2 years total
3. How long have you been married? Just over 4 years
4. What does he do to suprise you? He brings home little gifts for me every once in a while, just for no reason which is so sweet. (He loves trying to pick out the perfect present for me, and he does an awesome job too).
5. What is your favorite feature of his? His hair (when it's cut), I also love his lips!
6. What is you favorite quality about him? He knows how to make me happy and he can always make me laugh. Plus he is like the only person who can calm me down and get me to think rationally when I am having one of my panic attack meltdowns (which occur quite often these days)!
7. Does he have a nickname for you? Middy or Mithy
8. What is his favorite food? Chicken & Cheesecake
9. What is his favorite sport? Anything with a ball. He watches sports constantly and if nothing is on, then he watches ESPN news (as if he missed anything, REALLY)! He does like to play basketball best though ;)
10. When and where did you first kiss? On our second date after a football game at his parents house.
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We go to the gym (so romantic I know, we need to get a real hobby to do together).
12. Does he have any hidden talents? He plays the saxophone (he even played for the UofU concert band), he will never admit this, but he has a really good voice too. (I wish that I could say the same for his wife).
13. How old is he? 28, that is...until December 22!
14. Who said I love you first? He did (Through a text, lame I know,but he always tell me, that it worked and to "look at the end result" when I tease him about it). Long story ,but we were actually broken up at the time and we had just started to talk again and go out occasionally. Then one night I wasn't returning any of his calls (I was on a date) so he sent me a text. Funny huh? ( FYI he freakin broke up with me on my 21st birthday, he is so lucky that I came back ). :)
15. What is his favorite music? Counting Crows and Neil Diamond ! (I HATE Neil Diamond)
16. What do you admire most about him? He has a huge heart. He would do anything for anyone

18. Which side of the bed does he sleep on? He now sleeps to the right of me and he hates it! We switched sides during my pregnancy cause I was always so hot and his side was closer to the window air conditioner unit that I made him purchase for me for carrying his child! I can't believe he hasn't made me switch back yet.

Spooky!!

HALLOWEEN !

Yes, I am just now getting around to posting our little chili pepper's first Halloween (mother of the year, I know).

We had a great Halloween that started off at Grandma and Grandpa Morgan's , then to Holman's Halloween party and then we had yummy homemade chili, bread sticks and root beer at my Aunt Marlene's. Morgan was quite the trooper. And next year I will definitely dress her in a more girly outfit cause, she was mistaken for a boy a few times. (Maybe next year her boring parents will dress-up too)!!

We were so lucky to catch the elephants while they were performing for an audience and we got like front row seats!!! This picture is for Breckan, he told me that the elephant is his favorite animal.

What can I say, other than I think that giraffes are like the most amazing animals. I love the pattern on their skin and their long, long necks!! What a BEAUTIFUL creature!!

This tiger was so active and he was very close to the fence. And I was just hoping that this chain link fence would hold if he decided to attack!!! (That is a hungry face if I ever saw one)!

A Day Out With the Girls!!

Last week a bunch of us got our kids together to go to the zoo. Okay, we used our kids as an excuse, we really wanted to go to the zoo. It was so fun cause I haven't been to the zoo for like 5 years. I can't wait to get back and for Morgan to be older so she can actually be as excited as me to go on little outings with her crazy mom!!

Bottle Worries

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I am seriously about to have a nervous brake-down. I go back to work (part-time) in a week and my little stinker of a daughter has decided that she won't take a bottle anymore! I don't get it, she used to take a bottle without putting up a fuss, and then like a month ago, she decided that she wasn't going to have a thing to do with the bottle anymore.

I know what you all are thinking, how can a baby so cute innocent looking decide to do this? I really don't get it because my poor mom has been coming over every day to help Morgan practice taking a bottle. I feel awful because once Morgan sees the bottle, she starts crying. Then when the bottle is placed in her mouth, she gags and then starts crying hysterically. She gets herself so mad that she starts kicking and batting the bottle away, and the thing is, she is hungry. She is just so dang feisty and stubborn to give in. (She must get her temper from her father). ;) Morgan has put up this fight for longer than an hour before she finally gave in and took some of the bottle. I feel bad for my mom because Morgan now associates her with the bottle and cries when she sees her (even if she doesn't have the bottle). My pediatrician told me that I couldn't be the one to give her the bottle, and if any of you know my husband, he isn't the most patient person. He feels awful letting her cry so hard and then he gives in to her and then walks upstairs and hands her to me. We have found out that she will not take my milk out of a bottle and have had better luck with formula...?Weird. I have tried every make of bottle and I am seriously out of ideas. So if anyone can help, I definitely need it cause I don't want my babysitters to have to put up with her non-stop screaming. I wake up in the middle of the night with anxiety because I am afraid that my babysitters won't want to watch her anymore cause she is so naughty.

Morgie's 2 Months!!

My baby girl is growing up so fast! I can't believe that she is already 2 months old. I finally got Morgan's pictures taken and here are a few of my favorites (it was way hard to chose cause she is so dang cute). I had her pictures taken by Hayley at Captures Photography (in case anybody is interested). She spent so much time with Morgan and I couldn't believe how well they turned out. (Thanks for the tip Jen and Jill)!

She Changes Everyday!!

Here are a few more pictures of our little Morgan. I can't believe how fast she is growing and how much she changes. I am having so much fun staying home with her. She seriously cracks me up all of the time whether it's a funny face she pulls or a new noise that she is making. I never knew how much fun being a mom could be! I love you Morgie!!!

I absolutely love Gramsy's chair. I love the color, the height and how comfortable this chair is, it sereiously fits me perfectly (all of you shorties out there know how hard it is to find a seat where your feet actually touch the ground)! but Gramsy has decided to re-cover it. Morgie Meets Great-Grandma Morgan

Morgie finally go to meet Grandma Morgan!! It was so fun to see my grandma because we haven't seen her for over a year (since my grandpa passed away). Grandma was so happy to meet Morgan and couldn't keep smiling. We difinatley need to plan a trip to Idaho so she can see Morgie again.

BREAKING NEWS!!

Lance is back!!
I am so excited because just yesterday Lance Armstrong announced to the world that he is going to be riding in the Tour de' France next year!! (He must have read my last blog post) ;) I can't wait for next July, watching the Tour just wasn't the same without him so, I really didn't keep up with it since he retired. But now he's back. Go for number 8 Lance!!




See how hot he is? (No worries, Chris knows about my crush and he is ok with it. His crush is Kate Hudson. It was hilarious when the two started dating, but they are no longer together.)

Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours:

1. I am secretly in love with Lance Armstrong. Ok, ok I am not in love with him, but I think that he is super hot!! I was obsessed with the Tour de' France like all 7 years that he was racing. He is in my opinion the most amazing athlete in the world, I mean after beating cancer, he came back into the cycling world and totally kicked everybody's trash !!

2. I am the most emotional girl that you will ever meet. I cry easier than anyone I know, and I am freaking out that my only sister has to move away from me for at least 4 years when she and Tannon go to dental school. I seriously get anxiety about it and F.Y.I. I have tears in my eyes right now just typing about it !!! I am a basket-case. I'm doing my best to try to be excited for them. I love you sis !!

3. I love watching the Hills (on MTV). I know that I am so lame for following the lives of Lauren, Audrina, Heidi, Whitney and Lo as they live their fabulous, (unscripted) lives in the Hollywood Hills. My husband Chris hates that I watch this show and tells me all of the time that I am a mom now and that I shouldn't be watching "crap like this on tv". Oh well, I still love it. In fact it is on tonight!! ;)

4. I love to travel. Although, it is no longer in the budget now that I am married and have the sweetest little girl. Here are a few of my favorite places that I have been: Italy (for high school graduation my cousin and I went to Italy and traveled all over from Milan to Florence to Venice to Rome to Capri to Pompeii to Verona to Sorento and a lot of other little towns. I would love to go back). Hawaii, New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Mexico and my family also went on a Chruch History trip starting in SLC and traveled east all the way to Rochester NY. I can't wait to see where else I can get to (hopefully soon )!!

5. I have a great appreciation for photography. I have a nice Nikon camera (that my sweet husband gave me last year for my birthday). I want to find time to learn more so that I can take better pictures.

6. I love the elderly. As many of you know, I am a Physical Therapist Assistant. When I was in school, I planned on working more with athletes, but I quickly learned that they had major ego's and knew more than anyone else (Nick Thiros). So, I went back to working in a nursing home with geriactrics!! I love working with them because they have such great stories (sometimes you hear the same ones everyday) and I love that I get to see the same patients everyday

Labor Day Get-A-Way!!

Morgan's 1st Road Trip
Over Labor Day my whole family packed up and went South for a mini va-ca. Morgan got to meet her Great Grandma & Grandpa Rose as well as her Great Uncle Turtle!! We all had a great time. Chris and my dad went golfing, Me, Morgan, my mom, McCall and Tannon went shopping (sorry Tannon, you will have to pick-up golf) ;) We also played basketball and tennis with Uncle Turtle.
It was a nice little get-a-way.

Morgan's born!

Morgan Elaine was born on Sunday, July 27th 2008. She was 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 19" long. She was born at 7:03pm. Chris is now a proud papa !!

This is my husband Chris. He is such an amazing person and I am so lucky to have him in my life. We have so much fun together and the past four years have flown by. Now we are parents (scary, I know) and Chris is such a great father to Morgan !!

Blogger in Training

Hello everyone!! Since Morgan is now in my life, I've decided to finally post a blog. As many of you know, I am computer illiterate, so my sweet sister has helped me get my blog going. I will get more pictures posted soon, so check back soon.
