Christmas

This Christmas was a hard one for me because it was the first time that McCall, Tannon and Hudson (their dog) weren't with us. But at the same time, it was great because Morgan was so much fun this year. She even figured out how to open presents without help! We have been so blessed with that little girl and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank my Heavenly Father for her and the rest of my family.

Christmas this year went something like this at our home this year: I made brunch for my parents and Chris' parents
Morgan got her own little table and chair set

(Not too sure it was a hit)
But, she loved her own "big girl" chair to lounge in

She also loved the toy Cally and Tannon gave her

And she Loooooooves the Wonder Pets

Mother of the Year !!

Last month Chris and I had some of Chris' cousins over for dinner. It was so much fun cause I really don't get to see them all that much. So after dinner, all the kiddo's left the table to play and the adults stayed around the table to talk. I could hear the kids and Morgan was in my sight (with her back towards me that is), so everything should be fine right???? She couldn't get into any trouble within my sight. Well, that was not the case. The next thing I know, Collin comes up to me to tell me that Morgan had eaten a marker. I told him that I don't own any markers so how could she have eaten one? I got up to check on her and to my surprise, there was a huge box of markers that the other kids had brought and Morgan really did munch on one!!! I know that this age is really going to test my patience because I really can't handle messes or my daughter being a mess. I have some complex about keeping my things nice and keeping everything clean. I know that the day will come when something does happen to my house that won't be fixable and I will just have to get over it. Luckily, my house was fine, just my Morgie Monster got drawn on!
The culprit
I think she thought she was in trouble!

She knows I'm wrapped around her finger

How can I not be with a face like that?

Queen Bee!!

So I know that it is nearly Christmas and I am barely blogging about Halloween! I am the worst, I know. Anyhoo, we had a great Halloween. It started with a surprise 50th Birthday Bash for Chris' Aunt Viki. Morgan had so much fun playing with Chris' cousin's little girl, Sadie. They had a great time running around and they even found some balloons! Morgan had so much fun with those balloons, she took them everywhere. We even had to take them home with us cause she was so sad she had to put them back. It was quite sad when they lost their air after a few days. She didn't understand why they wouldn't float anymore!

This began Morgans love for balloons!
(she is now obsessed every time she sees one)

I couldn't believe how well she kept the head piece on!

Trick-o-Treat
I love this pic!

Somehow she knew what candy was even though she hadn't had it before!

Chowin' down on Auntie Great's delicious bread sticks! Every Halloween my Aunt Marlene make homemade chili, homemade bread sticks, homemade root beer & homemade doughnuts! I think Morg likes this tradition. YUMMY!!!

I love my little honey bee!

Black Island Farm

This Fall we went took an adventure to Black Island Farm. Morgan loved it! We have never been before and were surprised how much there was to do (even with little ones)! We will definitely try to go every year with the Morgie Monster! Morgan and Daddy on the small slide.
Morgan clapping at the pig race!! (Her pig won too)!

Petting the llama

Morg getting the cow's attention

Morgan loved all of the animals, that is until we got to the tire bull!

Getting sick of the camera in her face!

This was so funny, Morgan was tapping her foot to the music! She cracks me up.

Picking out the perfect pumpkin

We had so much fun and we didn't even get to do it all before Morgan tired out. Next year we will try out the hay ride and maybe even the corn maze!

Pittsburgh !!

Last month my mom, Morgie and I went to visit Cally and Tannon in beautiful Pittsburgh!! It was so good to see them again, it seemed as though it had been years since I've seen them, when in reality it had only been 3 months!! (Looks like it's gonna be a long 4 years for me).
Here is McCall in front of her own sign! (For those of you that don't know, I gave her the nickname "Bubble Butt", but apparently her friends changed it to "McBubbles" in high school). I realize to most, this won't be funny, but we couldn't stop laughing when we saw the sign and we had to snap a pic!! Love ya Sista!!

Lunch at the Cheesecake Factory

Amish Country!! Smicksburgh was amazing. It was so beautiful and surrounded by gorgeous trees, and old homes that have been turned into shops. The Fall Festival happened to be going while we were there. We had a blast!!

Morgs eating her first whole apple straight from the Amish trees!! These apples were yummy. You will see that Morgan has the same apple that she had been working on all day. She ate the core and all, I couldn't get it away from her!! She's a little possessive of her food I guess! Yikes.

My little pumpkin

McCall just adores Morgan (I think Morgie kinda likes her auntie too)! It was so fun to see them together again.

Morgan has made some progress on her apple by this point.

Sipping on the best apple cider in the world!!
