HALLOWEEN !

Yes, I am just now getting around to posting our little chili pepper's first Halloween (mother of the year, I know).

We had a great Halloween that started off at Grandma and Grandpa Morgan's , then to Holman's Halloween party and then we had yummy homemade chili, bread sticks and root beer at my Aunt Marlene's. Morgan was quite the trooper. And next year I will definitely dress her in a more girly outfit cause, she was mistaken for a boy a few times. (Maybe next year her boring parents will dress-up too)!!

We were so lucky to catch the elephants while they were performing for an audience and we got like front row seats!!! This picture is for Breckan, he told me that the elephant is his favorite animal.

What can I say, other than I think that giraffes are like the most amazing animals. I love the pattern on their skin and their long, long necks!! What a BEAUTIFUL creature!!

This tiger was so active and he was very close to the fence. And I was just hoping that this chain link fence would hold if he decided to attack!!! (That is a hungry face if I ever saw one)!

A Day Out With the Girls!!

Last week a bunch of us got our kids together to go to the zoo. Okay, we used our kids as an excuse, we really wanted to go to the zoo. It was so fun cause I haven't been to the zoo for like 5 years. I can't wait to get back and for Morgan to be older so she can actually be as excited as me to go on little outings with her crazy mom!!

Enjoying the Awesome Weather

Bottle Worries

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I am seriously about to have a nervous brake-down. I go back to work (part-time) in a week and my little stinker of a daughter has decided that she won't take a bottle anymore! I don't get it, she used to take a bottle without putting up a fuss, and then like a month ago, she decided that she wasn't going to have a thing to do with the bottle anymore.

I know what you all are thinking, how can a baby so cute innocent looking decide to do this? I really don't get it because my poor mom has been coming over every day to help Morgan practice taking a bottle. I feel awful because once Morgan sees the bottle, she starts crying. Then when the bottle is placed in her mouth, she gags and then starts crying hysterically. She gets herself so mad that she starts kicking and batting the bottle away, and the thing is, she is hungry. She is just so dang feisty and stubborn to give in. (She must get her temper from her father). ;) Morgan has put up this fight for longer than an hour before she finally gave in and took some of the bottle. I feel bad for my mom because Morgan now associates her with the bottle and cries when she sees her (even if she doesn't have the bottle). My pediatrician told me that I couldn't be the one to give her the bottle, and if any of you know my husband, he isn't the most patient person. He feels awful letting her cry so hard and then he gives in to her and then walks upstairs and hands her to me. We have found out that she will not take my milk out of a bottle and have had better luck with formula...?Weird. I have tried every make of bottle and I am seriously out of ideas. So if anyone can help, I definitely need it cause I don't want my babysitters to have to put up with her non-stop screaming. I wake up in the middle of the night with anxiety because I am afraid that my babysitters won't want to watch her anymore cause she is so naughty.

Morgie's 2 Months!!

My baby girl is growing up so fast! I can't believe that she is already 2 months old. I finally got Morgan's pictures taken and here are a few of my favorites (it was way hard to chose cause she is so dang cute). I had her pictures taken by Hayley at Captures Photography (in case anybody is interested). She spent so much time with Morgan and I couldn't believe how well they turned out. (Thanks for the tip Jen and Jill)!

She Changes Everyday!!

Here are a few more pictures of our little Morgan. I can't believe how fast she is growing and how much she changes. I am having so much fun staying home with her. She seriously cracks me up all of the time whether it's a funny face she pulls or a new noise that she is making. I never knew how much fun being a mom could be! I love you Morgie!!!

Morgan in Gramsy's Chair

I absolutely love Gramsy's chair. I love the color, the height and how comfortable this chair is, it sereiously fits me perfectly (all of you shorties out there know how hard it is to find a seat where your feet actually touch the ground)! but Gramsy has decided to re-cover it.
